Casio Baby-G Quartz Digital LCD Dial Pink Resin Strap Ladies Watch BG-169R-4ER This watch has a fatigued box which shows signs of wear whilst in storage. The warranty on the watch itself is unaffected. Baby-G introduces a whole new colour palette of glossy solids into the line-up. With vivid colours, metallic dials and matching LCD’s, these new colours are sure to make a splash. The Case: This classic pink Baby G gives a fresh look to casual style. The case is made from a mix of resin and stainless steel which earns it the Baby-G name by being shock resistant. The Baby-G name actually sits at the top of the case making it a piece you can truly rely on. The case sits at a nice dimension of: 45,9 x 42,6 x 15,4mm which is the usual among other Baby-G watches. The glass is slightly lower than the case which will help reduce the likelihood of scratches to it, despite being made from hard glass. On the back of the case is a solid stainless steel screw down design which gives the watch a water resistance of 200 metres, suitable for diving. The Dial & Functions: The dial compromises of a digital LCD display. On the default settings the day of the week will be displayed at the top, a menu selector in the top right and the time displayed towards the centre of the dial. Through the buttons on the side of the case the watch opens up to the multiple features built into the watch. One such feature is the ability to set five daily alarms. This will sound off an alarm once the time is reached everyday, perfect for those who need a reminder due to their busy lifestyle. Towards the sporting side of things the watch hosts a counter timer and stopwatch function. The countdown timer has a capacity of 24 hours which can be measured down to the second. The stopwatch function on the other hand comes with three modes: elapsed time, split time and 1st and 2nd place. It too has a capacity of 24 hours but can be measured down to 1/100th of a second. Another feature of the watch is a telememo function. This allows for up to 25 data entries to be entered such as a phone number or a password. For those who like to travel the watch has a dual time feature which will display to local time alongside that from various popular cities around the world. For this watch to be ready for action whenever a display illumination feature was added at the touch of the button for easy visibility at night. But for those who need their beauty sleep the watch can be muted. Each timepiece in the collection will handle anything you can throw at it. They are all 10 metre drop resistant, vibration resistant, hammer shock resistant and low temperature resistant, as well as being water resistant to 10ATM. Immediately popular with the youth of the time, the current revival of 90’s culture and fashion means that the Baby-G is as popular as ever, offering an unparalleled level of functionality and style for creative individuals worldwide. The Brand: Casio Casio was established in 1946 by Japanese engineer Tadao Kashio. The company entered the timepiece market in 1974 with the release of the Casiotron, the world’s first Auto Calendar watch. Only eleven years after entering this field, Casio completely reshaped global thought about the function a watch should perform with the release of the pioneering and now legendary G-Shock family. Innovation and world firsts have defined the company’s history ever since. Thee most striking of these being the release of the first ever touch screen watch in 1991, 24 years before the Apple Watch, and the first ever wrist camera watch in 2000. In short, Casio was producing smartwatches decades before the term came into use. Add to this the hipster popularity of the company’s retro designs, and Casio has firmly cemented its reputation as a famously reliable and precise name in both analogue and digital watches.
